You can’t teach a 10th Planet seminar (sidenote* to clarify, this originally this wasnt related/affiliated or labaled as a 10th planet event, this was a totally seperated un-named event, i was inviting 10th planet if they wanted to go as an invitation) unless you are a certified instructor but you can get a bunch of guys together to exchange knowledge and techniques. My certified instructors would be pissed if non-certified instructors started teaching 10th Planet seminars. Just call it an “10th Planet Friendly Open Mat” and you’ll be fine as long as it’s not a 10th Planet seminar it’s all good

--instead of being labeled as personal seminar its now "10th Planet Friendly Open Mat"

date time location is all T.B.A when we work all that information out

Robert could you answer the questions about your jitz background? With you not doing that it makes you seem very shady. Be up front, be honest, & stop avoiding answering the questions. Not trying to be a dick but I personally would not go without any of this info. I dont understand why you will not post up your background, even if you have very little experience. I run the Miami HB and anytime I am asked for my experience or anything of the sort I have no problems laying it out. Im a white belt thats been doing 10th Planet for a little over 2 years. I started at 10th Planet Sherman and am now directly under Coach Herzog. See its that easy. Transparency in our system is one of the reasons that 10th is strong and will remain that way.

Too many people out their making a buck and getting high off of being "the coach" while not putting in the work to earn the title. That shit really bugs the fuck out of me. People can get injured from idiots like that.

white belt offically but not reflective
studied 2-3 years in sport - well versed overall
attended demian maias seminar in ludlow, ma

    good enough for me

    People can get injured
    - thats why i prefer CATCH AND RELEASE rolling compared to the rest of sparring i see where you get injuried at daily practice

On that note I may as well lay mine out too (since I've caught heat beefore too)

    White Belt officially in jiu-jitsui
Studying on and off for a year, lots to learn of course
Attend grappling courses/classes at a dojo in North Andover MA, Whitewater MMA in Framingham, and member of the Harvard Self Defense club in Harvard MA.

I always try to go light in rolling too, as alot of the kids
I practice with we're all wet behind the ears (I will err on the side
of caution and give up a position or tap early if I think it's getting out of control rather then risk getting hurt or the other person).

I would love to be under the tuteluge of a 10th planet instructor, but I haven't been able to budget enough time to devote so that it's worth their time so most of my learning is through the MTS videos, and what classes I can catch (and the forum too).

    other martial arts:

Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, gold medal in forms, silver in breaking, bronze in sparring. My master was a 5th degree, and graduated several successful black belts (and he eventually sold the school to a former student who continues to carry on the name for Alpha Tae kwon Do).

1 year of WWE style wrestling on my street-done wide range of moves including (but not limited to) DDTs, Rock Bottoms, Stunners, slamming through boxes (both on and not on fire) and chair shots. My character was based on Stone Cold and Triple H. We suffered 0 injuries during that time span (the only thing that happened once was my glasses got lightly scratched which I promprtly stopped wearing during wrestling moments, and we acidentally bumped into one of the cameramen on a suplex). Unfortunately the film never got converted to DVD format.

I've also watched a long range of Van Damme movies, most of my Muay Thai and karate/kickboxing basics in standup are from his style mixed with my TKD(the spinning back fists and knees he does in Universal Soldier, his elbows from Kickboxer, etc).

My goal is just to have fun, have some laughs, and keep in shape.
