I had to be at work while this thread was taking place. my background is in hardcore punk did vocals for way to many bands around here. I'm green edge which means what you think nothing but weed (also calling yourself anything edge pisses the straight edgers off lol). We would fight the straight edgers like we were re-enacting the warriors son. I'm not "edge" and i think it does push good habits and clean lifestyle (posi style H20 any one?) it is a push and where i'm fromthe edgers get violent and throw christianity in the mix. not cool espeacially when we live in the shadow of falwell. Basicly all this shinfo is to really say thats awesome Pj, that you brought up sxe. props. the real poll question i've been wanting to ask is how many hear listen to hardcore? lol

yeah bro... I've seen a lot of guys turn into idiots and go overboard with it. I'm an atheist too but I don't push that on people either as long as they don't get mad when I snicker a bit when they praise Jesus for a 50 dollar winning lottery ticket. Throughout high school my favorite band was AFI. Dude had some badass vocals and I believe he's a hardcore straight edge guy now too

I was a huge AFI fan in the day all hallows ep still gets played alot at my house. Davey Havok has always been sxe from what i understand at first he was trying to be danzig now he's trying to be a lady. lol I'm agnostic and in this polarizing ass town a pushy atheists is in the same boat as a pushy christian. uneeded. hahaha I guess that's true... yeah... Davey did go from being all hardcore glamour goth to suddenly being really drag queenish... he was hanging out with Jeffrey starr a lot so that probably had something to do with it. But, I saw an interview with him that was dated a couple months ago and He had short hair and rocking a full fucking beard... kind of weird honestly
