Wow I wonder if he was actually provoked to a point where he had no choice but to fight or if he went out looking for it. But before you judge him for hitting a girl, remember that in Thailand there's a fine line between male and female, maybe he didn't know it was a girl? Either way, rule #1 for survival during international travel... don't get into bar fights with the locals. (unless you're bas rutten)
