Online Rankings for non gym members

If you plan to have a full time rolling partner because you are unable to get to an acutal gym, compete on behalf of yourself, and do all the requirements to get a grading/ranking, who would you say you are representing.
10th planet, 10th planet HQ etc.
I'm assuming Eddie is the only one who can do the online rankings/gradings?
on this note is anybody on this site a higher belt level due to online grading/ranking?
would love to see/hear about a success story.

You'd say your representing 10th Planet, not 10th Planet HQ.

To the best of my knowledge no one has been promoted soley based on the online ranking as of yet, (Posting your competition videos, technique videos,etc.).

could non-gym members go to another 10th planet and get the promotion, or does it have to be by Eddie himself

The question about going to a moon to get ranked has been answered by a few moon instructors, but I'll try to sum up their responses. No one is going to give you a belt based off of one interaction with you. They want you to attend as many classes, privates and seminars as possible so that they can see your commitment. In this MA/sport students are a direct representation of the instructor and instructors tend to guard their and their schools reputation fiercely.

Short answer... gotta pay your dues and do your time.

i'm pretty sure that most comps down here have 10th planet jujitsu as a option you can pick as the gym your repping

Yeah I'd assume so I just didn't know if it hq or not if eddies giving you the belt. But chris answered that for me. I can see why so many videos are required for your online promotions, no other way of gauging your commitment and skill level if you can't attend a gym.

My first competition ill be repping 10th planet. Coz i dont have any gym yet. But if i lived in perth I'd be at AMMA for sure, sporting the tenth planet patch as representation.
