Boxers go to the ground in real fights

Former WBO Super Bantamweight Champion, Daniel Ponce De Leon was sparring undefeated prospect Kevin Hoskins in the ring when punches got a little heavy, then wild, then an elbow or two was thrown. When the bell rang, De Leon threw a late shot.

Hoskins promptly grabbed his head (Muay Thai Plumm), threw De Leon to the mat (Judo Tai Otoshi) , and tried to Pride soccer kick him (Pride never die).

Some boxers denigrate the technique shown in MMA fights, but when things get over heated in boxing, the results often look like unschooled MMA technique.
