    The coolest part about the overhook guard, is if they pass the far leg, you just super stomp back into guard instantly. It's literally Lockdown > superstomp > fullguard > try to hit RG > they pass the leg > regress to overhook guard > superstomp > Full guard

    and it all happens dynamically

    you gotta be able to throw a block on his collar bone, too. that's one of the most overlooked parts, i think.

    say you wanna bring up your left leg for mission control. throw your right forearm into the left side of his neck, and bring your foot to meet your hand (instead of grabbing your foot and trying to adjust to a good mission control).

    for what it's worth, i try to completely skip mission control whenever possible. flying kung fu/chill dog. or at least overhook the arm before falling back to new york.
