    Anyone Do Kettlebell Workouts?

I was checking out a wishlist for Christmas and Rogan says aside from personal training from Steve Maxwell he does this DVD:

    http://www.dragondoor.com/dv052/#tabid_Video

Has anyone tried the workouts from this DVD or any other Kettlebell workouts and noticed a difference in stamina/strength or help in their jits? I was thinking about trying this DVD. P90x sounds cool but costs way more and seems like you need a whole bunch of equipment like multiple weights, stretch bands, pullup bar, mat etc. Anyone also try/get good results from P90x? I'm trying to do something to save on time if I want to cut out traveling to the gym.

hi buddy kettlebells r really great way to develope ya whole body for both strength and conditioning.
its a "GYM IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND" lol
peeps will go on about lots of different KB exercises but all you really need is the basic 3!
    SWINGS
    CLEANS
    SNATCHS
Theres obviously lots more and you can make some fantasic routines up by simply stringing different exercises together to make flowing circuits.
there also great for developing grip strength, your triple extension, explosiveness, core stability, etc
if you want to push your conditioning you should checkout kenneth jay's VIKING WARRIOR CONDITIONING.
its pretty intense but you'll get out of it what you put in.

hears a sample conditioning routine, its very intense but simple routine, which mixes burpees with either swings or snatches

    2min round
    30 sec burpees
30 secs one handed swings (left)
30 secs one handed swings (right)
    30 secs burpees
    1min rest
    repeat as you see fit!
doesnt sound like much however the idea is to push the pace eventually you can build this up to a 5min rd with 1min rest and repeat as you see fit. lmao!
would seriously suggest seeking someone who can show you good technique as itll help stop any injuries
wouldnt get anything lighter than a 16kg but wouldnt get out heavier till you know what ya doing
    hope this helps buddy
as you can see i luvem!!!!

    Hi bro,

beside jits, the kettlebell training is the most effective way to work on your strength and conditioning. As one of Steve Maxwell's clients i highly recommend you his tapes. He released a new set of video on his homepage "Spartacus, God of the backyard" with a new workout and he also released a complete kettlebell dvd and book. Will send you the link later if you're interested. Don't miss the joint mobility videos

Three months ago i was going a step further and joined the training program and Steve becomes my coach. I was overweighted and my body was crap. Steve is helping me to get back into shape and i'm very successful with it. Jits, Kettlebells and Bodyweight workouts and some yoga is the shit i love and it took me years to realize that.

    Hope that helps. Cheers, Mike
