Good video, around the 4 minute mark after Frye reverses, Yoshida with the lockdown, 6 minute mark uses it to get back to butterfly guard, than an open guard to armbar

Was just watching the best of Pride the other day and this fight was on

Damn, I've seen this fight at least a half dozen times and never noticed the lockdown! You could see right before he transitions to butterfly that Frye is having a difficult time keeping his base, Yoshida also does a good job of whiping him up on top of him before he transitions. Lockdowns were common in Judo, used frequently to sweep or stall for a stand up. A Judo friend of my told me they recently made it illegal....shocker!
