    You can also just click the stop button as soon as the page is loading and it wont re-direct you to the black page.

    The message is good, but...

    I wonder how many people will get fired based on not being able to use wiki today. This doesn't really make the point they want it to. How about, at the very least, a warning before you take down one of the primary sources for information on the internet?

    Wiki says "imagine a world without free knowledge." No, wikipedia, it would be a world without you. Someone would rise up and fill your place - just ask yahoo.

    theyve kinda warned everybody for a little while now and I doubt anybodys gonna get fired for not being able to use just one of many sources of information , and it actually makes the best point showing if sopa was passed then wiki , youtube, reddit and many other similar sites will be shut down for good just like how a lot sites are protesting by doing the same thing.

    Hmmm.. that could be seen as a bit of a self conflicting argument I think.

    I don;t see it as self conflicting. In the short term, as in today, there is no instant replacement. If this were permanent, there would be.
