Mayweathers challenge came before the Cotto fight which doesn't make any sense because Pac crushed Cotto. I don't want to see that again... I want to see Manny get in there with Floyd !!!

I'm saddened by the Pacman v Mayweather situation. Mayweather dodged Pac for years and now they are both past their prime. I still don't understand why Mayweather ducked him for so long. I mean Mayweather is an AMAZING boxer with no losses vs Pacman's record which has losses. Now when they fight, age and decline are a factor for both boxers. I LOVE boxing, but stuff like Mayweather's ducking, fragmentation within boxing's circuits/belts, have eroded one of my favorite sports to watch. Who knows, I could totally be wrong and they'll unify all the boxing circuits under one belt, under one promotion, and have 0 fragmentation someday =D. Someone please tell me that boxing won't die after the Pacman vs Mayweather fight.

Mayweather decided that he didn't want to split the purse 50/50, feeling he deserves more then Pacquiao, thus effectively killing any chance of this fight happening anytime soon. A classic way to duck, using money as the reason.

Mayweather ducking Pacquiao ??? Mayweather has never ducked a fighter... especially not Pacquiao.

If Manny doesn't step up this fight will not happen in 2012.

Mayweather is the reason this fight isn't happening. He can say he wants to fight Pacquiao all he wants, but it's simply not true. If he really wanted to fight Pacman he would of accepted the terms of a 50/50 purse split and signed the contracts, but he didn't. Instead, he demanded he receive more then half of the purse, which is a classic duck move.
