How did he eat those words. Anderson is still ducking him and anderson did get out striked and ponded and beat through chaels sheer tenacity that fight. The fact that he wrapped his legs around his head for 8 seconds doesnt mean he's tougher.

Well in my humble opinion, the fact that Silva got his face and body pounded for over 20 minutes vs the fact that Sonnen tapped from Silva putting his legs around Sonnen's head for 8 seconds makes Silva tougher.
I can see that what Silva is saying about Sonnen not deserving another shot, but the fact that the fight was so one sided for so long would make a rematch incredibly interesting. I wanna see it happen.

Are you really a blue belt? Do you know what jiu jitsu, submission or triangle means? Anderson Silva could have kill, let me re-write that [KILL] Chael Sonnen and break his arm for good measure. That's what triangle's do, they cut oxygen to the brain by way of closing the trachea and the veins around the neck. A bit too long in a triangle, you pass out, much longer than that, you die. That is the reason why Chael tapped. If that leg wrapping was that simple, why did Chael not ride it out till the end of the round? Chael was not even tough enough to fight the triangle/armbar until his arm broke or he passed out.

I know a triangle doesn't mess with the trachea but if it doesn't stop oxygen (via the bloodstream) to the brain how does it choke you?

Not really pulling down on the head increases carotid pressure maximizing the effectiveness of the choke. A strong blood choke can put you out in less than 10 sec. But you can last over a minute with complete airway restriction. Think about it how long can you hold your breath?
