10th Planet Riverside, California grapplers have been and are working real hard on leg locks. We've got 10th Planet brown belt Slick Rick Marshall going to Gokor the #1 teacher of leg locks in the world two times a week and bringing back leg lock techniques to us and we have a black belt of a Gene LeBell/Gokor black belt teaching us leglocks two times a week. Leglock classes at 10th Riverside every Wed. night at 7:30 P.M and Saturdays at 11:30 A.M. If you're not doing leg locks you're missing 50% of grappling techniques. It use to be 40% but it has since went up to 50%.

Awesome. Though I'm stranded in the middle of the midwest I was fortunate to find a shingitai jujitsu club, which was developed from a Sambo and Judo lineage.. Judo throws and leg locks are definitely an aspect of my game that I am grateful to have.
