Having been in the U.S. military myself for six long years and having trained for war I like what Ron Paul says about getting
rid of U.S. military bases around the world. (Or at least cut back a bit.)(Also not against war per se just against wars that are not necessary.) Just think, 1,000 U.S. military bases around the world
on every continent. (I've been to a few of these 1,000 U.S. bases myself.) The sun never
sets on the U.S. military bases around the world (plus a new war or two every few years.) Doesn't
that make you such a proud American?! Of course with this pride comes a few sacrifices like no kind of health care
for everybody(in the greatest nation in the world, you grapplers that don't have health care be careful)
cut backs in educational spending, higher gasoline prices, 1% of the U.S. populations owning 90+% of the wealth and
so on and so forth.(In the U.S. the rich get richer and the poor get poorer has never been more true than now) Lost my teaching job of 5 years because of lack of funds which were a direct
or indirect result of our current two wars in the Middle East. By the way, that 1% of the U.S. population makes mega-bucks of
our wars and that's why we have them. Not for any other reasons. Then like sheep we go along with it.
