Awesome seminar was an honor to roll with the Masters

Special thanks to Ryan Fortin for putting on and inviting me to this more than awesome seminar.
Anyway just got home from Vista 10th Planet
and the Mendes brother's no-gi grappling seminar. Wow, awesome
and coolness is just a start of telling how great this week has been.
First 10th Planet Riverside/Vista night at H.Q. Thurs. night with Eddie Bravo and
Denny together on the mat at the same time
teaching and telling grappling/MMA stories and now this great Mendes brother's seminar only
two days later. The Mendes brothers are really cool, nice
and easy going. They been all over the world teaching.
Japan, Europe, all over the U.S. and they were telling me about how they like going
to Venice, Italy to teach grappling. I lived near Venice for
two years so that got my attention.
Any way just this last Thursday Eddie was talking about how the
10th Planet system is everything including the systems of Marcelo Garcia,
Jeff Glover, Paolo Popovitch, Cyborg, Gokor and the Mendes brothers.
This is the second Mendes Brothers seminar for Slick Rick. Rick could do a follow
up review seminar of the Mendes brothers seminars especially since he's got their
instructional too.

The brothers rolled with everybody and Rick lasted a long time. Marcos who's
from Peru lasted a real long time. Somebody was telling me that at the last
Mendes brothers seminar brown belts and black belts were being tapped out
really quick but the 10th Planet guys last much longer.

One of the Mendes brothers got a rolling toe hold and the other got some kind of an innovative
entre leglock.

Slick Rick Marshall is going to do a video based on what he has learned from two
Mendes brothers seminars. He took a Mendes B. seminar just this last Dec. and
now again in Feb. yesterday. Rick took copias notes and asked questions. All
this to be on the DVD. Plus Mendes innovative leglock techniques.

Have no fear this will not go on youtube and never even thought about doing that.
This will be kept in the family. Something to do while the techniques are still fresh
although we do have the notes too. When I took
private leglock lessons with Gokor the top leglock teacher in the world he would not let us
film but he let us film each other doing the techniques. Everybody complains that
they can't remember that much after a seminar and were fixing this and keeping
it in the family. Have never put anything on Youtube before. Why start now.
I don't even know how to put video on Youtube.

Great seminar, the Mendes Bros. were very good in explaining each technique. A lot of info so any way we can share between us would be cool!
