Thanks to Everyone at HQ for an Amazing week!

This was the first trip to HQ for P.J. Sysco and myself and it has been Awesome. The depth of knowledge and skill is obvious but we didn't expect everyone to be so incredibley nice and helpful. I'm very proud of P.J. he had nerves of steel and did great, Me not so much! On my first roll in front of the living superhero that is Eddie Bravo my nerves got the best of me and I had a Jason ""Mayhem" Miller moment adrenalie dump and my body would not do what the mind wanted it to do, I looked awful and felt worse, after class Eddie took time to tell me to relax and don't be so worried about getting tapped. I got caught in a heel hook by a really nice guy named Ryan later that night in front of Eddie but I felt much better about my roll. I did not have the adrenaline dump and I was able to relax a little, I was still nervous with Eddie watching and still got tapped but I felt much better about my roll by just taking Eddies advice. But it's not just Eddie that has been so helpful, Compella taught excellent classes, Brent Littell -rolled with me for awhile and happily answered all my questions - I think he also cracked my lower floating rib with his knee but it was worth it! Rick Marshal, richie and Geo Martinez, Nathan Orchard, Ralf A.K.A. Nazi # 3 & #7, Rob from New York and lots of other folks from all over the world we now call friends. We will definitly be planning more trips to HQ in the near future and appreciate everyone for making this a great experience.

Everybody in the 10th Planet system is friendly and helpful. Of course then again I always say the best way to learn is to teach.
Say, you were in Sean Bollinger's seminar in Springfield, Missouri que no? Wasn't that you cranking on Sean's neck? LOL!
I filmed that. Did you ever get a copy of that DVD?

yes that was me, I also drove up several times last month to train while he was at the helm in springfield. Most guys tap on that choke, not Sean he just waited it out until I was tired and rolled right through me. He's Amazing. I would love a copy of the dvd, how can I get one? Thanks.

Can send it to you. It's really good and long. Got a lot of Sean rolling. Got you in an interview at the end of that DVD. BTW, Sean said you were strong as hell. U look strong too. He told me his neck was a bit sore after that. Funny how Sean never gets mad or upset. Like you said anybody else would have tapped. I believe that. You must lift weights a lot. How much have you benched?

And Kerry Henson of Chanute, Kansas. Kerry is the head instructor. He has trained with Royce Gracie,
Perdro Carvhallo, UFC ref Herb Dean, Marco Ruas, Pedro Rizzo, Giki Sudo, UFC ref and state wrestling champion
Larry Landless, Joe Charles, Gokor, Manny, Karo Parisyan and had an MMA fight against a Chuck Ledell divison wrestling student.
Kerry is also a tri-state Karate champion. Chanute, Kansas is real close to the Missouri border. Only what about 45 minutes.
Joplin, Missouri the city of the worst tornado ever which you saw Rick seems is real close to Chanute. Springfield is about 3 hours away from Chanute.

I'm strong and can move a lot of weight but honestly big muscles are not an asset in jiu-jitsu, at least not for me, I can out strength most folks but it comes at the expense of burning a lot of oxygen and getting tired quickly. I'm focusing on my techniques and cardio now and working on not getting so excited before I roll in front of real life superheros. When I get that choke in I finish the match 99% of the time, Sean is not only amazing at applying submissions he also seemed at least to me to be submission-proof and is an excellent teacher as well. P.J. and I will try to make it to springfield every time he's there and are going to try to bring him down for a Seminar when we finish our affiliation. Thanks! my address is Jamze Hampleman 911 Maple Ridge Trail, Poplar Bluff, Mo. 63901 I'll be happy to pay for the dvd & shipping.
