    Testing the effectiveness for rubber guard in MMA? I dont know.

    It certainly wouldnt have killed him to throw a top on to do the video.
    But none of the ladies will be complaining.

    So, is it better to slide your right leg up to collect the arm than swing it up (1:20)?

    I've locked the triangle on the shoulders before but it was more in a transition. I never thought about figuring out a setup to purposely lock it in. Very effective move.

    I've been using something similar (2 arms in triangle) to set up armbars for a quite a while now. It offers an incredible amount of control.
