i enjoyed this ted talk and thought it would be appreciated here. the gist is something that everyone who has continued success already is familiar with:

that positive outlook and the way we interpret our reality has more bearing on the outcome than our situation itself.

the talk is definitely worth listening to, the speaker gets his point across effectively and is pretty funny.
