I use to be a gym rat, training every day of the week except Sundays. But my wife and I recently had our first baby, and now I can only do 3 times a week. The change was really hard for me mentally (still is at times). Kept thinking I was missing out and losing opportunities to get better. But now, I appreciate the rest more. My body is recovering better. And I usually perform better in my sparring. And not to mention the fact being a DAD is the coolest thing eva!
