Seeing Eddie in Grand Rapids

Hey everyone. I'm set to see Eddie and Einstein in Grand Rapids (2/18). I was wondering what to expect. I have Eddie's Rubber Guard DVD and am still focusing on the basic path.

I usually train in the Gi (which is why I picked the user name). I see lots of folks rolling with real names. I'm Dustin, and I'll be glad to change my username if possible.

^ This!!! Also be prepared for a more open minded, ego less instructor, than you have (more than likely) ever trained with before! Have fun and video that shit so you rep it right! If you drill/rep something a 1000 times the wrong way, you have only mastered fucking up the tech

Dustin. I was in exactly your position before I had my first seminar with Eddie (training at a gi school and learning the basics from the dvd which I had edited into separate clips for my iphone). The seminar was great because I got to learn the little things that make all the difference when applying techniques and all of the updates to the techniques since the dvd came out (there are many). Also as others have said it's great to train with Eddie and Einstein to see how chill and ego-less this sport can be, they are way fun. Oh and the teaching method at the seminar I was at was great, easy to follow and plenty of attention if you needed help.

Thanks guys. Josh and Bill you both run schools that are a legit road trip for me (but doable). I've thought before about making a weekend out of it and visiting.

I'm excited about this seminar and future ones that might be happening around me. I'm a believer in this stuff. I just need to find a way to get more reps in.
