Eddie and Einstein were in Grand Rapids today (2/18). I've trained traditional gi jiu jitsu for a couple years. I've only studied 10th Planet stuff via video.
This seminar was probably basic for 10th Planet regulars, but my legs still feel nice and warm from the amount of stretching required to do the moves. I paired up with a dude built like Roy Nelson, but it was my choice. He looked like he had a family and a job to go back to and not one trying to be a hero, so it was perfect for me.
Everyone was nice. Everyone. Eddie signed my DVD set (which turned out to be boot-legged though I had no idea). I met guys in my area who work the system, so I can continue a bit more regularly. And the site hosts 10th Planet seminars on a regular schedule.
It was a great time. Thanks! I'm not throwing away my gi just yet, but I'll sink the money I was planning to spend on a new gi into more 10th Planet training.
