I've been hearing mixed things. All I know is that if a gi is cotton-like then its kosher. What do you guys know? I also heard that if the gi is white and transparent, that doesn't fly either.

Probably depends on where you compete. Pretty sure c3 its legal.

I can understand KauaiKimonos ripstop Gi's being illegal because they aren't cotton and are so thin, that it's practically see thru when it's wet. I can't think of a reason the ripstop weave itself would be illegal though.
