Blackbelt advice request: Is a variation of this choke possible from invisible collar

It seems like from invisible collar that you already have the first hand in and that it might be possible to finish by pistol gripping your own gi pants instead of hooking the leg the traditional rubber guard style.

I'm going to try it at my gym tomorrow and if it works I'll post a video.

I was curious if anyone else had experimented with it?

    Thanks!!!

Ur pistol grip can't hold down a guy while he postured with all his might

A Ninja choke variation from IC is close. I know I'm a white but I've hit them multiple times.

good point about the pistol grip being weak.

I used to land the ninja choke all the time from IC but my sparing partners see it coming now...

When I got the classic cross grip with just grabbing my legs rubber guard style it worked. But to get the second hand in during sparing is impossible and you give up the trapped hand doing it.

Hit it off of the Kimura Sweep. If the sweep fails shoot the posted hand under the opposite side of his neck
