agreed. UFC is top level mma and there shouldnt be excuses. if they do something drastic it might stop it from happening

I agree. If something drastic were to happen guys might smarten up about their weight cut or fight in a bigger weight class.

I would guess that the majority of fighters who come in overweight go on to lose the fight. Let the fatties get 20% taken away and if they do it again within 18 months give them the axe.

Jackson mentioned that he had retained water on the flight. What I want to know is why is he flying into Japan so close to the night of the fight? If I were him I would of been there at least a week early to acclimate and loose the warer retained from flight.

I could agree with that. Let 20% be your first warning then make a lot less in a smaller promotion if you cant cut the weight

*Kid Yamamota vs Vaughn Lee- Holy shit Kid throws heat behind those punches. Really a back and forth battle with both of them getting wobbled. That was a perfect set up from triangle to armbar. So much for Kid never being tapped damn.
*They need to get rid of that stupid FOX football music
*Gomi vs Mitsuoka- After that first round I really thought Mitsuoka wasnt going to take this fight. But Gomi came out in the 2nd like a fireball kid and finished it. I still think Gomi is passed his prime but he might be able to put on a couple more exciting fights
*Holy shit that was a brutal head kick! Pure shin right across Lauzon's jaw. WOW! Bet Pettis fights for that belt next with that one
*I lost alot of faith in Hioko being the #2 FW after the Roop fight. Saying that Hioki looked awesome tonight. I dont know that he could beat Aldo but he impressed me tonight.

*I had a feeling Shields won the fight but I dont quite agree with a 30-27. Akiyama had a couple beautiful throws. Super impressive. I hope they dont cut him
