Call it whatever you like, but I have considered myself a decent mid level grappler for some now. I mean that I roll 7 days a week currently and have been grappling for twenty years now. I have a healthy diet and I work my ass off to get better. My host of injuries have made sure that I'll never make it to the big leagues and I'm cool with that. However, netflix sent me this dvd yesterday and all I can say is WTF! After watching these beasts, I now feel like a toddler on the mats. Shit, these guys are sick! It's an annoying dvd with constant replays and slo motion, but these guys rained on my parade lol. Anybody else ever had one of these moments of reality kicking your sack between your own teeth?

Its meant to be a training aid, the slo mos and replays are to help you dissect the moves Laimon has chosen to single out. You can't watch something full speed and only once then understand it.

Every time I roll with someone who is training hard for competition, especially MMA guys im always shocked by the pace these athletes are ready to go at.

I'm fully aware of how the dvd footage was set up and why. It still made for a very strange and somewhat boring viewing experience. My point was that these top level guys have a game that I can only dream about.
