MMA has gotten me not chicks, rather it has gotten me many dicks. In my face. During class.

The large majority of people who hear BJJ (after the initial BLOW JOB JOB LOLOLOLOL) think tae kwon do. Only the very few who know what MMA is will care or understand. Statistically, then, don't bring it up.

Realistically, I've noticed >50% of men who go to jiu jitsu have nerdy interests outside of jiu jitsu. Likewise, I'd go so far as to bet that nerdy girls are the prime candidates for BJJ.

Hey guys, thought it'd be fun to share stories about when being a skilled mixed martial artist has gotten you laid. Personally, I like to throw it into the conversation fairly early when hitting on a girl. It's important to do it in a non-asshole way though, usually I offer to teach her some basic self defense techniques which demonstrates my sensitivity to women (which isn't totally bullshit, I actually do believe all women should know some form of basic self defense). To be perfectly honest though, I've had the plugging my MMA training to a chick backfire more times than it has worked. Lots of girls peg me as a violent jerk just because I'm into MMA. Arggg @ ignorant chicks!! Anyway, has it worked for you guys? Do you think it goes against the true mixed martial arts philosophy to use your training to get chicks? I'd love to hear the collective opinions on these topics.

Master Eddie and I talked about this once. He asked if I had a girlfriend. I didn't at the time, but he said I would be looking soon.lol.

He told me to stick to music and not jiu jitsu trying to pick up girls. I was doing drums only at the time, he also said move out from behind the drums and learn the guitar or sing, because those guys get all the chicks.lol Picked up a guitar less than a week later.lol.

Thats why you gotta move in with them then they stop complaining then you can train all you want cause instead of going to just your place your going home after class to your and her place together makes it easier i promise and remember if you do make sur eyour name is on the lease lol...just incase

I work with a bunch of fancy pants helicopter pilots. Sucks when we go somewhere and girls ask us what we do and I start out with "I'm a flight medic" then my buddy is like..."I'm his pilot." Yeah, they lose interest in me real quick.

I drink with helicopter pilots too. Your letting the truth get in the way. When we go to a bar with a mate whos a pilot, every guy there, tells every girl there they are a pilot. Girls dont know shit about helicopters. Its as good a lie as any to start a conversation and you get the extra entertainment of watching your pilot mate go "but I actually am a pilot" and the girl go "yeah, thats what those other three guys said".
