Cristiano is a 3rd degree black belt which means he's been a black belt for about 10 years, longer than Jared's been doing jiu jitsu. He was the bjj instructor at Chute Boxe and is 15-2 in mma. That's a helluva an opponent for Jared who was 3-0 coming into that fight. Plus Jared is a 145'er, cristiano should win the whole thing, he's a serious threat to anyone at 155, I am proud of how far Jared has come, he will be back stronger than ever

The jared fight was a shame, he got taken down straight into side control then mounted. Pretty hard for him to display his jiu jits. Just annoying they put those two good jits guys together. i'll guess we'll have to wait before we see a high level 10th planet person in the UFC.

no way that fight was selected at random. i dont think ive ever seen a fighter from mount bottom attack with strikes the way jared did. that was pretty sick.
