The Gracies have a habit of letting their limbs be broken and not caring.
I think UFC 1 rules Royce would win, it just would not be at all pretty.

I could see Rickson, Relson, Ralph, or maybe Royler winning, but not Royce.

Rickson, maybe Ralph. Royler is too small. Igor's a bear dude. His "gentle" is rough for most guys. I guess maybe because I've met him and felt his strength a bit I'm biased. I can't see many scenarios where Royce would win...then and now.

@David Rosado: What about Relson? And I just said maybe Royler. He WAS the Rafael Mendes of his time. Royler won 3 ADCC tournaments and Igor only placed 4th in that tournament once. Granted, they did compete in different divisons, but come on! He at least had a shot at beating Igor back in his heyday.

Marcelo looked great in his MMA match. If the other guy hadn't lucked out and drew blood, he definitely would have lost. Marcelo was winning the fight the whole way up until Dae Won Kim drew blood and if you watch the match again you will notice that Marcelo was on his way to sweeping that fool before they stopped it. Also, Royler Gracie has fought 4 hour long bareknuckle brawls with some of the best Lute Livre fighters in Brazil and came out victorious. Do some research before you count that dude out. Everyone made a big deal about Eddie tapping out Royler for a reason. The man still trains 10 hours a day and he started learning Jiu Jitsu when he was 3 years old.
