The Russian nightlife is much different than Western standards. For the record, I happen to be Russian (you didn't know? ;-) so this ain't because I hate the culture. What I hate is the unprofessional attitude of these thugs. When the the Soviet Union broke down, The Neuvo Riche (New Rich or 'those with money') started coming to the forefront. With lax police involvement and high corruption, the Russian Mafia invested in nightclubs across the country.
Think Vegas in in the 1940s, 50s and 60's.
And to answer you Brent, it is shockingly common in the Mother Land. Its a different culture altogether where even the police may slap you for jay walking.
Obviously this video footage is controlled and put on the internet by one of those bozos and there won't be too much police involvement for the excessive force because it simply doesn't exist.
What this video shows is an excellent demonstration of the sucker punch. You can learn a lot by it.---------------------
