Also, anyone build any guitars??? I'm thinking about building another one. One of my Strats was gutted and redone with new internals and EMG pickups. It sounded pretty bad ass.

I'm a drummer first and foremost but I picked up a guitar so I could learn to "talk musician." I have an ANCIENT Jackson PS2 with the Floyd Rose bridge that could use some loving care from a patient luthier. I also have an Ibanez acoustic-electric in a purple fade that *almost* matches my favorite drums. I love that guitar. I saw it in a shop, played it once, called my (at the time) wife and said: "Unless you tell me 'NO' I'm buying a new guitar." She knew she couldn't tell me no. Did I mention she's been my ex wife for quite a while now?

I currently play a MusicMan SuperSport and a Suhr custom knockoff that a friend of mine built. If I was willing to fork over the cash, I'd probably get me a couple of Fender Custom Shops. I prefer the single coil sound over the humbuckers, cuz these days I primarily play clean. My style is sort of a blues fusion. Picture Jeff Beck meets Bill Frisell.

I have an Ibanez RG570, had it since '98. Two double, one single coil pickups. A metal machine!! lol. I'm getting older now, I should trade her in towards the Les Paul I always wanted. Zakk does pretty good with them.

Awsome responses guys...Matthias, my PRS was my favorite. Louis, wasn't Eddie rocking a musicman after the Kramer/Peavey days??? And Ryan... Zakk does really well with the Les Paul as does Slash, Tak, Joe and countless others... I'm thinking of getting a Les Paul knock off, gutting it, maybe putting a Floyd on it with PRS pickups lol (is that sacreligious???)

I'm a Strat guy,but I used to have a really cool Ibenez Talman,some Danolectro Reissues,love the (Jeff) Beck stuff,old Yardbirds to Beck/Bogart/Appice. I like his "Jeff" or "Who Else?" stuff better than the "Emmotion and Commotion" stuff. I also love bottleneck-Ry Cooder rules!
