So I put together a little video of my cousin's last few matches. He has been training Jiu Jitsu for about 7 or 8 months now. These videos were made when he still had less than 6 months experience.
His first NAGA we skipped Novice and went to beginner. He cleaned house. So his next tournament He went teen intermediate/blue belt. I was also competing at that one and wasn't there to coach him. He didn't do as well that time. So his last tournament I just went as his coach. He won Teen Intermediate Gi/No-Gi so we bumped him up to adult Intermediate. He cleaned house in adult No-gi with all submissions. He went to sleep in the gi LOL.
He's had a chance to train a little with Brandon down at 10th planet Decatur and we hope to get in more mat time down there. He'll be competing again in Nashville armed with a 10th planet game plan we have been working on. I'll let you know how it goes.
