    Rion broke his arm in Jiu Jitsu

    My son Rion broke his wrist on Tuesday in Jiu Jitsu.

    The kid he was sparring shot in for a take down and Rion tried to stuff his shot and his wrist bent backwards, after class he went to the hospital and the doc said it was broke.

    He has had a few other injuries, but this has been his worst so far, at least from Jiu Jitsu...

    He will still be training Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and Weightlifting, but just with one arm for about 6 weeks.

    We are hoping to build up his legs during this time.

    He will still be training Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and Weightlifting, but just with one arm for about 6 weeks.
    Yikes hope he feels well and fast! I've been training with one leg since TUes myself, so this will be a good opportunity for him to really learn techniques that rely on minimal strength and limbs (and make him think his moves through more).

    Yeh it is going to be a challenge for him, but it was his decision to keep on training without taking time off, he doesnt want to get out of shape.

    And he wants to Thank Everyone for all their support and especially everyone who has visited his facebook to show some love.
