I gotta give a shout out to JC, who recently was visiting HQ from the UK....I was rolling with him earlier this week and had him a couple of darces for a long time. I was squeezing hard for probably over 45 seconds each time, but I couldn't get him....during the roll, after I realized he wasn't going to tap, I just decided to at least try to work on my squeezing endurance by counting seconds in my head....I think overall, he was in probably two and half minutes of darce chokes which I think is usually a pretty good spot for me, but he did not tap.
JC, you're a tough dude, and a good teammate - happy to have you rep 10th planet across the pond. I heard you were staying with Renato Laranja, so maybe some of his gi privates helped....
Check out these pics of the bruise that developed on my arm yesterday. I don't know if you can tell by the pics, but it is pretty big...I haven't seen an arm bruise like that before, and I did it to myself! It only hurts a little and I can still roll, so we're all good....
