On the topic of Woolly Mammoths, have you seen this? Apparently a deal was signed to clone it. Hwang-Woo Suk of South Korea's Sooam Biotech Research Foundation plans on implanting the nucleus from a mammoth cell into an elephant egg to create a mammoth embryo. The Koreans are saying research could begin this year.

thats awesome. theres also been talk for years about reverse engineering? (if thats the right word) dinosaurs from the ostrich, since it still has raptor feet. unfortunately the jurassic park idea wont work cause dna degrades really fast.
