I started when I was 28, Now 38 and just starting to work seroiusly on my flexability. The next oldest person in my class is like 26and I roll with all of them all the time. Get in there, take it slow at first, let everything "tuffin' up". Just relax and just show up to class for the first 3 months or so and let everything develop. After about three months you should be able to really start to push yourself!!!

I started at 33. I'm never going to be world champ but I have lots of fun and meet cool people along the way. You can get your flexibility together, just put in the reps.

I started training with John Botello (10th Planet Phoenix) at 37 years old, with horrible flexibility as I wasn't working out at all. I recently turned 42 and I can FINALLY get into double-lotus (I need to get warm and I must use my hands, but still...).

Age is a just number and nothing stops a person from getting flexible - you've just got to put in the time...
