Teaching kids how to be superhero's...

Is the best job in the world.

I just started teaching at this amazing new kid's activity center called "g'ymagine". I get payed to play. My first class is a group of eight, age three to five years. I walk on the mats and introduce myself. I'm wearing my jeans and long sleeve shirt over my purple long sleeve rash guard, black under armor compression leggings and green board shorts. I tell them that I am a super hero and I want to show them my costume. So as I'm explaining to them what I train (jiu jitsu) allows me to be a superhero, I take off my street wear and reveal the evidence of my secret crime fighting life. They were convinced before class even began. They were now ready to make one of their dreams come true. Finally someone who understands the feeling of wanting to be hulk, superman, batman or spider man (I explained how i don't have a cape like spiderman) soooo bad that they are willing to fight each other to learn. I told them i wanted to train them how to be super hero's just like me. I ran a couple of very success classes over the next hour and a half and needless to say was hired immediately. The parents loved it, the owners loved it and do I need to mention how every kid went home and begged their parents to sign them up for jiu... jiu... superhero class. I have a feeling a lot of kids rash guards are about to get bought from Jiu Jitsu moms this year. We are even going to be making g'ymagine rash guards. Obviously, I will be repping those hard in competition.

Thought I'd let you know how one of my dreams just came true.

By the way, I realized that I only own one boring purple rash guard right now. So if any of you creative brands want to donate to my gimmick, it will certainly go towards developing the endless possibilities of their young imaginations. lol.

Sweet. If you wouldn't mind I would love to see some videos of your classes. I was approached to teach some similar classes here. My classes would be 1st and 2nd graders and I would not only teach grappling, but some kicks and punches as well as using the class to reinforce English skills. I am willing to do it, but I had some angst due to the fact that I didn't want them to start using things on the other kids. I kinda just wanted to see how you approached things like that. Again, if you don't mind.
