    Brent Littel seminar review

I just got home from the Brent Littel seminar hosted by Brandon Mccaghren in Decatur Alabama. Foremost, let me say that Brent is an absolutely amazing instructor! He covered the proper way to maintain full mount, taking the back from technical mount, quarter guard transitions, and a host of other technical goodies. Every detail was polished as he patiently made sure we were doing the tech correctly as well as live resistance drills. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and detail oriented seminar. If you weren't there you missed the most game changing seminar of the year! I have a notebook full of new details as well as amazing video to bring back to my school. I guarantee that I could teach what Brent covered for the next two months six days a week and still have techniques left over. God forbid anyone ever have to subject their body to Brent's shoulder of justice! I believe that's what it was called. Either way, you'll shit or go blind...seriously... I think I actually did both. Anyways, a massive thank you to both Brent and Brandon! Also, he's breeding killers down there in Decatur. Caanan, Ziggy, and everyone else down there are some amazing grapplers!

The seminar was great. I asked Brent to come and share some of the things that separate excellent grapplers from mediocre grapplers, and to help us to understand the small details and concepts that make jiu jitsu effective. That is precisely what he did. He also took time with me individually to discuss philosophy, strategy, thought processes, etc and to help me refine and tweak some of my own personal jiu jitsu.

Brent is incredibly organized and professional in his approach to teaching. It's obvious right away that he is a gifted and experienced instructor. We will be having him back regularly, provided he's willing to brave the perils of Decatur, Alabama again

Training with guys like this always makes me so jealous of those of you that have Black Belts and Brown Belts to train with on the regular. We have the only jiu jitsu school in our entire city (and county. In fact only one neighboring county even has a legit academy), and we've had to claw tooth and nail just to climb up to where we are. It makes me love what we have become, but sometimes I think about how much easier it could have all been if we'd have had someone like Brent, Alder, Herzog, Eddie, or Soneca out here to put us through the fire and refine us every day.

I love jiu jitsu. I'm proud to be a part of 10th Planet Decatur. Don't take what you have for granted. Live every day to its fullest

Man, where I'm based in Australia my 10 p instructor is 172 km away from me.
I get there as often as possible, but building not just 10th Planet jj but any jiu-jitsu in my region is hard given the issue of access to top level trainers.
Having such a fundamentally strong dude like Brent Littel even posting videos on you tube is a major help, any of you guys who get to train with him are lucky, lucky guys.

Brent is a fantastic teacher, he was the first fundamentals instructor at Hq and currently teaches the advanced class when I can't make it. He's one of the most technical teachers in the entire system

It was an honor to have Brent come out and teach us. I was able to take away some great points and tighten my up my game thanks to what he showed us. Thanks Brent for sharing your knowledge with us!
