    Naked juice smoothies

    How are these for you? I was out and stopped at Walmart to grab lunch. I grabbed a half wheat and turkey sub and one of the strawberry banana naked smoothies. It says 22 strawberrys and whatnot in the bottle, 250 calories, very low sodium 10 ( mg i think ) per bottle. It is kinda high in sugar.. About 40mg per bottle however they claim its not added and is natural.

    Anyways they seem alright to grab while out but what do u guys who are health nuts think ?

    This is where going to Walmart and grabbing the 99 cent coconut water as a healthy alternative to take with u would be even better, even lower sugars and sodium and it has electrolytes in it.

    I drink one of the Green Machine Naked drinks every day. They taste decent and I feel healthy drinking them. Whether or not they are actually healthy for me I can't say, I don't know enough about nutrition. I'm quite curious to hear some more educated opinions myself.

    i wish the green one tasted horrible...i like my health drinks to taste horrible

    The problem with naked is they add the vitamins after the juicing process because the way the juice has taken a ton of nutritional value away from what you're drinking. Fruit Juice in general isn't that great for you because of its high sugar content and relatively low fiber. Obviously this is a way better alternative than a can of Pepsi but as an overall healthy factor i try to stay away from any juices I don't make myself in a vitamix type machine. You have to remember the fruit we eat is hugely made up of fiber and other nutrients in the skin and when you purely juice all those micro nutrients and fiber gets wasted. If you're gonna drink anything drink Coconut water it has more benefits than a naked smoothie.
