I have been hitting electric chair since I started Jiu Jitsu because it was one of the first moves I learned. I have high percentages with it as long as they don't stuff my whipup by hugging tight and posting their head.
So I am already really comfortable with it, however I what I did do was get into the Mastering the Rubber Guard book last night to go over my options from failed whipup, refreshing on Old School, etc.
I love the 10P basic path and the bottom halfguard game. It's definitely my go-to system if I have the opportunity to get it started.
I need to go over the vaporizer though. I couldn't find it in the first Mastering the Rubber guard or Twister books last night.
Edited to say I found the Vaporizer in Advanced Rubber Guard. After reviewing it an reflecting on the fight (especially the last few minutes), I find myself wondering if there is a Loco-Vaporizer or a Defcon-4-Vaporizer where Eddie could have put is heel against the planted leg and pushed away with it, or would the whole thing fall apart if he moved his leg there?
