Why don't we see more Jeet kune do, Krav Maga or Shoalin Warriors in MMA?

My guess as to why we don't see Jeet Kune Do fighters in MMA is the same reason we don't see Krav Maga fighters or Shaolin Warrior monks, Because those Martial arts are severely limited by the "Rules" of sport and are meant for real street fights and could potentially be lethal AKA they will break your fingers, gouge your eyes, punch you in your throat and kick you in the balls or throw a Hadouken at you and vaporize your ass, lol. What do you guys think?

IMO Jeet Kune Do is MMA anyway, its more of a philosophy than a martial art, correct me if I'm wrong, and modern MMA is a example of the mixing of effective strategies and discarding ineffective ones. I think JKD also comes with some philosophical differences that make it different than what is practiced in today's MMA gyms. I dont think the Shaolin Monks are interested in competition at all but it would be cool to see. And from my practice and understanding, KM is about neutralizing a threat and getting away, you cant escape a cage fight so it kind of defeats the purpose.

    Maybe.

I'm pretty sure the Isreali Death Touch is banned by most gaming commissions. And of course, the Five Finger Exploding Heart technique is banned everywhere in the world, even Japan.

I think one problem Shaolin monks face is that they cannot use the Buddist Palm technique. Last time I used it, it blew half the cage away!

My dad started Krav Maga a couple of months ago. I asked him to show me. He put me in a weak standing americana and kneed me in the balls.

I don't think that what they can not use in the cage due to limitations makes them superior in any situation. Kicking somebody in the balls, gauging eyes, breaking fingers all can be also applied by an MMA fighters. Also, if you let the mma fighter know that these techniques are allowed, even if he does not use them, he can easily defend himself against them and still win the fight using, a proper submission, GnP or KO. The "dirty" tricks of many street fighting systems usually work on opponents who are already out on their feet from something else like a broken bottle in the head, or against people who have a very limited knowledge of the fight game and could have been easily defeated using some other technique which is not considered dirty.

Trust me, we can take the best HW Krava-Maga practitioner, let him use the full potential of his techniques, put him against a top 30-50 MMA HW and he will still get destroyed with one of his hands on the HW's balls and the other trying to gauge his eyes

Note: I am not trying to disrespect Krav Maga, I know its effective and there are really solid guys out there, just mixing in some humor .
