@JamesSteele Wrestling will now play a much larger roll in the the 10th Planet system, not solely for takedowns but mostly for finishing sweeps and defense against sweeps. Pulling guard will always be an important part of the program now we will focus on maintaing the top position once the guard pull and sweep are completed

I like these videos….I’m a big supporter of Eddies (I stick up for his system when haters talk shit) BUTTTTT we are paying about $5 PER VIDEO at this point. There is one new video a month

the $5 is worth it for new people who have not seen the old videos bc their initial $5 gets them access to those videos but new people are now paying 5 bucks every month for ONE new video.

Dude 5 bucks isn’t a big deal but its still kinda lame (and its $60 bucks over the year)….there should be less “filler content” (shit about clouds, music, Renato, etc) and more technique. Im not saying I mind all that other shit….but in the meantime put more technique videos up!!! Who cares if you repeat some of the material?!? Or I’m sure some of your higher ranked students wouldn’t mind doing some combos

Not that I’d say no to more content, but I have to defend the site: It’s much cheaper than comparable sites, membership keeps us connected to the 10th planet community through the forums, and the MTS episodes are freaking works of art. They’re very well produced and full of great moments like Eddie talking to those two kids about how to get laid in highschool, and Renato’s hilarious improv. Being part of something bigger like watching a style of martial arts grow develop, and flourish, in front of our eyes, is worth five bucks a month on its own. If you don’t believe me just check out the “ultimate ass” thread that’s been going since day 1, its way better than the one on sherdog or mma linker, and I gurantee you its better than the one on whatever website the Gracies have these days =)

Yo, Kev…are you already an expert at this?I understand everyone(me included) is a novelty whore, but as Eddie told me about a student awhile ago, “If you have to teach him that repetition and practice makes perfect technique and movement, then you have to consider he may be retarded.” (that’s paraphrasing but you get the idea).
I love having this voluminous warehouse of technique accompanied by all these scientists of the system that are continually tweeking and growing the system.
To me and my students, it’s invaluable.

Thanks a lot Eddie, I like the three techniques you showed. For a long time, I had problems in passing sitting guard and people who are good at hooking my knees, your two passes are so simple and I am gonna use them soon. I am till having a hard time in digesting and pulling off the second techniques, I’ll be studying it deeper from your Twister and Rubber guard books. As for arm triangle, thanks a lor for the insights, I really should do this more. Often times I only do armbars from S guard, Americana and Ezekiel (still low percentage, I am working on it. On Guillotine, often from that position I ended up on head and arm guillotine more, but not yet fully successful. The guillotine you showed, my friend, Niko Han told me it was Shaolin Riberio’s guillotine, hehehe as long as it works, I dont care.

I could listen to Eddie teach alll day long. He is so passionate about what he’s teaching and it comes across so well. I’m from Ireland, but damn, I wish I could attend one of his classes. Completely awesome instructor!

Seriously Kevin you are not realizing the deal you are gettin here. I’m a student of Eddie’s who is teaching these techniques in Afghanistan to people from all nato forces and even some locals who want to learn. Internet access is shitty at best and continual access to MTS is a must for me. This site is the ONLY one of it’s kind at any price. You gotta suck it it and let him do what he does man. There isn’t another Eddie out there. Suck it up dude. You’re not gonna find anyting better and you should know that by know if you are the student you say you are.
