We competed at the St. Croix Grappling Games today. Showed up with 15 competitors and ended up taking home 15 medals. 6 Gold, 5 Silver and 4 Bronze. We have a decent amount of video footage so I'll put something together this week with highlights.
Perry Olson won the Expert Division both at his weight class and in the Open Weight Division. He's a purple belt that has an amazing wrestling background.
Blake Bilder, one of our gyms monsters, won the 2-5 year division with 4 matches ending all by submission. This is his 5th straight tournament win.
Another up and comer from our gym is Wade Hagen. He end up taking 3rd today and finished all of his wins by submission also. He hit a beautiful Triangle from guard and a perfect Japanese Necktie in a match that lasted all of 30 seconds.
There are plenty of other submissions and wins that I hope were caught on tape....again I'll have video up soon!
