Thanks! I love kimuras and its one of my higher percentage setups. I really enjoy Nathan Orchards variations. The warm-ups variations, etc. Also I wouldn't have been able to sweep as smoothly without the 93 guard first. It gave me the ability to throw his balance off before I rolled and made it even easier to flow with. Definitely a super important part of sweeping successfully for me from that position.
Also, I did try to boot my foot.. He was strong. Straightening it was dangerous because of his ability to knee bar in that position. And hopefully we can get a more detailed breakdown I agree. I do believe spinning with the toe hold and trying to clear your feet out is acceptable and I was defending in a decent fashion up until I stopped defending to attack my own toe hold, which opened up the finish for him because my feet and hips were no longer mobile.
