I don't think he is describing the match with Marcelo itself in the speech (even though he is) but more about the tourney as a whole. He was getting a lot of flack for being an american in Brazil and this was the first major tourney he had won there so it was more of a proud speech. And I think my old instructor Parrumpinha is going to Best Way soon
