Brandon came in Friday and rolled for a few hours with myself and Ricky. His technical knowledge, skills, and entire game far outweighed both of ours combined. He spotted large gaping holes in my technique and quickly guided me towards repairing them. This alone was priceless. Saturday morning we held the seminar with visitors from both Cumberland MMA and William Gunter from Va. attending.
BMC started with some fantastic shrimping drills, guard recovery, Upa escape, elbow escape, and posture control. He then guided us through rubber guard while imparting golden nuggets of information to up the percentages of each position. He paid close attention to everyone and even spent extra time with my young troops. The highlight of the seminar according to nearly everyone was McCaghren's "Peanut" technique. Hell, who am I to complain. I started the seminar at 5'10" and walked out nearly 6'1" thanks to the peanut! I can't express how thankfull myself, all visitors, and every student at Veritas Aequitas Freestyle Jiu Jitsu were for Brandon's help. We're looking forward to his return! Thanks again Brandon, it was truly an honor.
