my buddy was lifelong hockey player that was only 5'7'' and could leg press damn near 1,200 lbs. I'd say his leg are conditioned lol.
Kyle I can leg press and squat with the best of them. Getting hit in the legs is something weights will never condition you for. You have to imagine on the ice they're protected and when you're fighting they're exposed. It's just a shitty feeling, especially since I had never gotten kicked in the legs before until last year.
Didnt Kazushi Sakuraba pull Royce Gracie's gi up over the back of his head when they fought? Would be funny if there was a hockey relation to that technique. Not sure if Im remembering that wrong though
