Tonight SSFT/10th Planet Clare hot Box members head down to Gibralter to compete for the MECS. (2-0) Mike minski will be competing at 145lbs., (15-15) Nate Darnell goes for the 145lb. Championship, and (3-2) Gabe Couch squares off for the 135lb. Champonship! - All amateur competition - Will post video's

Guys are repping proudly on their shorts for tonight! - Banner made up for Minski as well.

Good ground display on the night, just weren't able to finish. Darnell had a DEEP triangle in, gave up his back when he lost it. Couch had a questionable early stoppage (while he had a locked guard lol) And Minski set up his armbar very nicely (Video should be out soon) and took his Opponent out in just under a minute. Improving his record to (3-0).

Couch showed impressive positions, had his opponent double bagged. Believe he lost position transferring to Chill Dog, but he looked good. Was very impresed with how well the guys listened, and just about how comfortable the've all become on the mat! HUGE STRIDES have been made as of late with everybody involved in our program.

We may have lost two fights, but i gurantee we learned more than any two wins we've ever earned in a night.
