Heads up for Central Michigan MMA

Just wanted to let the 10th planet family we've recently been contacted by a man named Dave Knaggs about pursuing a Hotbox or Affiliation (After clearly stating he has no clue what that is) which i pointed him in the direction of Zog. But what makes this story so appealing to me is the fact that same crew has threatened the family of one of my fighters by use of firearms and everything else under the moon (gang related). It's truly sad, even going as far as to personally phone my fighters mom with death threats and all other sorts of garbage.

Obviously I wouldn't imagine these are the kinds of people we would be looking to have represent the 10th planet Community but then again it ultimately isn't my call. Just wanted to make everyone aware. I personally have received death threats towards me and my pregnant fiance as well lol. Obviously childish, but given they have a track record of attempted murder, and been involved in prior shootings it isn't something we've blown off completely.

Hopefully this doesn't workout, they truly are a scab on Michigan MMA. For those of us trying to build something reputable I'd have to say this would be a HUGE step backwords for the Martial Arts scene in our area.

I know "Flint" MI & "Detroit" are pretty gangster, but I don't know about the rest of MI. sounds like "Barn yard bangin" lol but real gangsters don't make threats. But damn, bjj schools don't make a lot of money so to feal the need to threaten people over a bjj school is crazy. " I mean really fucking crazy it's just jiujitsu damn " document all the threats and stay strapped dog.

D town is a ghost town. All the crazy ones left and came to Chicago or Gary, IN. That's weak shit though. I would document everything and get that shit taken care of. Seems like posturing but like you said you shouldn't dismiss it completely. There was a guy around Chicago like that as well a while back but now no one cares or even really talks about that school. They will implode, the egos there will be their demise.

He had no clue what a HotBox is, and the threats literally began with disagreeing over UFC FIGHTS!! lol Kid you not, real class act.
I've saved everything, and it seems as though I'm not the focus of their attacks anymore. More bashing our program, and verbally stating the "Street Team' they represent with no coaching is a notch above us. (Which is a completely rediculous statement)

Instead they now bash the family of fighters who actually train and work hard for the involvement in an actual program instead of the "group" they represent.

Thank you sir, the local chief of police is a supporter of our program actually. Made him aware of what's going on personally instead of calling the department. I think it'll all blow over eventually. -

I hope it blows over and was a simple misunderstanding on their part. "Coercion" and threats, and premeditated attacks are totally illegal.
