That's how you know your are at black belt level in a Judo, no match ever really last long than 30 seconds to a minute, those guys in the Olympics just stall for style.

I had all ready competed and medaled international in Judo and Sambo by this time, i had zero interest in doing states again at this time in my career i had all ready "retired". However one of my very good friends was elected our regions coach and he begged me to try out and compete that year as he really wanted to have a good showing as it was his first time as the regions coach, so I jumped in for him. My first match as just around 1 mins, and the rest where under 20 secs, and that was the entire finals at the end of the video.

I recieved my 4th dan a year or so after that.
