Hey man, Nice video. I played with this position quite a bit when I was training a lot with the Gi.

If you want more ideas for it, I picked it up from Roberto 'Cyborg' Abreu. I think he calls it double leg on back, or Legs on back guard and considers it part of his 'closed guard' game.

Here's a link to his instructional with that position. Some of it I'm sure will be hard or impossible to translate to no gi, but it might give you some ideas.

Cyborg has six techniques for the "legs on back guard" included on the Cyborg Guard collection. I saw a video of one of the techniques and it seems very gi specific but it would definitely be worth mining for ideas.

There really is a lot of options involving this position. Lots of entries and lots of finishes. Phill and I just wanted to cover some basics for now. Feel free to post any videos you have on it. I did find a couple videos on youtube but they didn't give me enough options to satisfy my ADHD maybe I just haven't found the right video yet.

Rafael Lovaro Jr also touches on it in the kimura section of his Seal the Deal video. He shows it as a grip break for the kimura and then a triangle flow. I'm really anxious to see where Nathan and Phil take this. I focus on kimuras and back takes in my game and I think this is going to transition into it very nicely.

I posted some video, but I think it's not approved or needs to be approved or something. There's a few things I think you could translate to no gi. There's a shoulder lock he does where he's grabbing the gi and his leg is threaded through their arm, you can still get this with wrist control if you have a good grip and their wearing wraps or gloves. I'd be interested in seeing what you translate or evolve from datch gi stuff.

I had a black belt instructor that caught in Pride that played this post ion. I tried it back when I was a white belt but in GI only and only went for omoplata from there. In the GI you set it up with same side sleeve and lapel control. Love seeing your take and excellent instruction! You can get there easy off a kimura attack from side mount.
