I LOVE watching Jacob compete, his rubber guard is ultra professional. At this rate he's gonna make serious waves on the competition circuit :-)

Passing half guard is my favorite part of grappling. I love smashing from there. Nothing brings me more joy than crushing a man's soul.

Saw Drew Ash working his open and X-Guard at the Alabama State BJJ tourney last year. He tore through the absolute division with it. Super impressive. And Drew is one of the nicest dudes we have in the system. Glad to see him getting some recognition!

    Great episode.

Oh shit bitches! Remember when we were talking about "douche moves"?

"Oh my, grinding people with you head is so unnecessary and cheap" *in my best faggy bitch voice*

Eddies showing it in this episode and talking about the effectiveness, 1 hour in, forehead in the jaw bitches!

No offense, just playin' around people.

Next episode, the oil check from the truck.

The guard break he shows to get from full guard to the crippler is my go to for getting out of a triangle.

Smashing is part of the game, head position is crucial in grappling :-)

I gave up the underhook from bottom halfguard tonight and paid for it by getting smashed and passed to mount. Then next round I snagged it for top halfguard and hit the no hands pass to knee slide to arm triangle just like the warmups. It's awesome when stuff from MTS comes up shortly after you've studied it.

At hq, because we are commited for life to these warm ups, the level of our entire game has elevateed significantly especially our passing, it really is incredible what happens when you memorize the warm ups so you can spend way more time drilling instead of sitting thru lessons
